WORKSHOP
Is Coercion Secretly Sabotaging Your ABA Practice?
Join us for a crucial set of conversations and a carefully designed set of activities to detect and correct for subtle forms of coercion in your specific therapeutic context.
The truth is, coercion often lurks in the subtle nuances of our practices - the ways we present choices, the histories and motivations we overlook, the narrow options we provide. Left unaddressed, it has the power to sabotage even our noblest efforts.

There's so much to think about -
let's work through these nuanced potential blind spots together,
in a safe space for learning and growth.

 We've got you!
ABA is well known for its effectiveness in teaching skills and improving socially significant behavior to impact those we serve. That's why we're here, isn't it?

However, concerns regarding coercive practices with its implementation have come to light, and it's time we take the lead and take a stand.

This workshop aims to shed light on these concerns and dig into the analysis of when both explicit and unintended variables put clients at risk of coercion.

Join me and my brilliant colleague, Janani Vaidya, for a 4 hour, deep dive where we will help you unpack the contingencies that might be at play in your day-to-day with clients.

You'll walk away with an action plan to get your programming on the right track.

-Liz
